Jamaine Eric Eugene Holmes, a full-time Producer, Musician and Ceo of Lightning Music Eclipse Record

Label performs and is known as “ 2Fingerz”, he was born in North Charleston, SC.

He is best known for his unique way of playing the bass guitar scales with only 2 fingers.

This is how the name 2Fingerz transpired.

He has collaborated and performed with many gospel artists including, Trinity
Inspirational Choir, where he worked as their Musical Director, and Greater Howard
Chapel AME Mass Choir, where he worked as a producer on the song “Higher
Ground”. Most notability, he has worked as a producer on James L. Patterson’s
“Move” & “Serve God Til I Die”.

“2Fingerz” began his musical journey at the age of 5. While studying under his mentors
David Dawson and Joseph Gallon Jr. he learned how to play the drums. When he
was 11 years old, his interest shifted to the keyboard. Soon after he started to play
the bass guitar. It was then that others started to notice how quickly he was able to
play any instrument that was put into his hands.

While learning to play the bass guitar, fellow musicians, Brandon Montgomery and
Tony Cobin were the first to mention that his approach to playing the instrument
was different from other bass players they had seen. They noticed that he played
scales on the bass with only 2 fingers. Word was out amongst the community about
this musical prodigy who uniquely played the bass. Many local artists sought
after him and his peculiar talent, giving him the platform he needed to become the
experienced musician he is today.

Jamaine “2Fingerz” Holmes started his producing career as Co-Owner and Producer of Music

Label, Mixed Wave Soundz. On this label in 2022, he produced “You Can Make It” by recording

artist Brandon Black known as “Brandon Noir”. This single featured recording

artist James L. Patterson. Mixed Wave Soundz was a stepping stone towards “2Fingerz” as the Producer

and CEO of his label, Lightning Music Eclipse.His first production in 2022 on his new record label was

entitled “You Reign” by international recording artist Joseph Maxwell.  In 2023, he produced a song

by singer/songwriter Brandon Walston entitled “ZION” on his record label Lighting Music Eclipse.

 

Followed by another release in 2024 by singer/songwriter Brandon Walston “Stepped In On Time”.

Jamaine “2Fingerz” Holmes continues to produce music that his fans on his social media platforms

want to hear. Whether it’s creating music loops for his social media fans on his website www.2fingerz.co ,

mentoring or giving instructions on how to use music software he continues to help the young and old.

productions. Recently, he produced a new single for Stella Nominated James L. Patterson entitled

“Certainly Lord” that was released on February 15, 2024 on all digital outlets.  Jamaine “2Fingerz” Holmes

has so much music to produce and new artist on the rise.
